In Class 2, We talked about how to improve the quality by setting different image size and cell count.

Now we have more ways to improve the quality: Color enhance and Mainimage blend.

There is a Option control panel while you create a new mosaic projec.

Please think about it:
Photos are our ink, and the main image is what we are going to draw.

First of all, Let look at this color table.
It is a standard 8 bit color table. there are 6×6x6=216 colors in this table.

In class 1, you created your first photomosaic.our skills.
Now, let’s make it looks better.

Rule 1: The More cells we have, the better quality we get.
If the whole mosaic size is limited (fixed), we can try decrease the cell size, by doing so, we can place more cells in same space. and this give us a more detialed result.

Rule 2: Larger photomosaic has better quality than smaller one.

A larger mosaic contains can provide additional space for more cells (keep same cell size), This would persents more detail information of the main image.
