Yesterday, I received a email, said: Hay buddy, My antivirus software reports that EasyMosaic install package contains a trojan! It mess up my computer!

What a hell! This shocking message scared me. I picked up my eyes from my table and put them back. then I started a virus check immidatelly. I checked every files on my host, all files on my development computer, and I download Easy Mosaic from severy public download website and all of them are clean. I use severy updated antivirus softwares and all report are clear.

Later I search few website which provide pirate softwares, and I found cracked easymosaic on their website, and they provide a crack patch. I installed the cracked version into a test computer.
Well, the crack patch works! It removed the trial time limit. good job, crackers.

I start running our cracked software to create some photomosaics, humm, it works. I am so glad that they did not destory my render engine. but it is not full functional, it is a trial vresion render still.
But, what the hell is this? The Internet Explorer pops up automatically. without my operation. It carry me to a strange website, lot of adult content and stupid stuffs and ads.

Now I understand, the cracker hooked a trojan to the trial version software, and hacked it to unlocked the time limit.  But the hacked version easymosaic does not contains the full functional render engine as a full version.

What is a photomosaic?

A photo mosaic is a picture (usually a photograph) that has been divided into (usually equal sized) multiply sections, each of which is replaced with another photograph of appropriate color. When viewed at low magnifications, the individual pixels appear as the main image, while close examination reveals that the image is in fact made up of many hundreds or thousands of smaller images.

Some report said, while then load an image file into easy mosaic, the get a bad quality like this:

What happend? let’s checked the source picture file:
I opened them in photoshop and found the problem.

These files are saved as JPG file format.
Jpg format have multiply defines and color mode, we cann’t support some special formats.

If your jpg file is saved as RGB mode, everything should be ok, however, If you save them as CMYK format, the error happens.

How to correct the error? 
simply open the picture file and convert the color mode to RGB mode, then save it as a new file.

I received many emails from Easy Mosaic users.
They ask me to provide a high resolution version of easy mosaic.

I get confused at the begining. I am very sure my program already provided enough resolution for most situations. Hummm. I stop nag here, and show you a sample:
