Postby Bonnieshawlady on Thu Apr 16, 2009 5:59 pm

Hi,
I want to use the advanced editor features, but the program becomes non responsive after the "apply pattern" step.
I have tried several combinations with the same result.
Can you please give me some guidence?
I leave the canvas as white, my largest cell is 96x96. I paint the masks starting with the smallest size.

Thakn you,

Oh, no....

You have to start from the biger size.

the white area is the big one.

then you should raint 1/4 , then 1/16

In most case you only need few 1/64 cells.

Hi Frank,
Thank you for your reply to my question regarding the Deep division Editor.
I tried some test images using your advise, however, the program becomes non responsive after the "apply pattern" step.

My source image is 20x16 300 resolution.
My input images are 480x480 pxl at 300 resolution.
I leave the white mask as is and paint first with the 1/4 and next 1/16
I am apply the rectangle pattern.
The cell size is 96x96.

I welcome your advise.
Thanks,
Bonnie

oh, my god. It's my fault.

I thought it was '1/16 size', but I looked at the editor the number is for edge length. so in fact 1/16 edge means it will divide the orginal cell to 256 parts...

Ok, let's do something like this:

keep most area as full size (white)

then click '1/2 Edge' (green) and paint a 200x200 pixels round in the center. in this area the big cell will be divided to some 48x48 px cells.
then click '1/4 Edge' (blue) and paint a 64x64 px round in the center. in this area cell will be divided to some 24x24 px cells.

no more.

then try to render a mosaic.

Hi,
I want to include the Priority Editor in my photomosaic workflow. How would you suggest using it?
Does it work with the division editor feature?
Thanks,
Bonnie

Hi Frank,
Your suggestions on the Deep division Editor were very helpful.
I am getting ready to post a page online and I am still not confident with the Priority Editor.
Can you please point me in the right direction to get the details for using this feature?
I Also like the Cell enhancement and the Main Image transparency features, but I need some advise on how to set the graphs to get the best results.
I want to place the best Mosaics I can create online. I need some help and guidance from you on these issues.
Thank you,
Bonnie
